Karly Allen, DPT is a physical therapist with 20 years of orthopedic based clinical experience. Her schooling includes a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Dance from Kent State University in 2003 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in 2006. She is passionate about working with an active and motivated patient population, creating individualized patient-centered treatment programs with a strong emphasis on manual therapy and functional strengthening. She enjoys working with athletes, dancers, and gymnasts as well as ACL rehab patients and has a strong background in return to sport programming. She also specializes in spine conditions, post-op conditions, vestibular therapy, and is a certified Pilates instructor.
In her spare time, Karly enjoys being involved in the community and serves on the educational advisory board for the Sport Medicine Program at Beattie Technical School. She most enjoys spending time with her family, being her son’s number one fan at the baseball fields and running with her dog.
